interested in becoming a dedicated member?

We are currently accepting applications for a sixth dedicated member to join Green Street Photo Collective.

As a dedicated member, you’ll be joining a group of five other photographers who are committed to maintaining an accessible space for fellow photographers of all skill levels. You’re a photographer who is a self starter, loves a side project, and values working on a team. For $250/month, you will have access to a studio and workspace to share with the rest of the collective members and our programming schedule. But more than that, you will be part of building something from the ground up.

Dedicated members agree to attend monthly collective meetings, lead or assist with at least one area of responsibility, support the studio's mission and  community values, and maintain a respectful environment aligned with our code of conduct (see below).

  • Respect & Communication - Treat all members with respect and provide constructive feedback. Address conflicts directly and respectfully. Communicate promptly about scheduling and concerns.

  • Shared Space - Leave the studio cleaner than you found it. Return equipment to its proper place. Report any damage immediately.

  • Community - Support fellow members' creative growth. Share knowledge and skills generously. Celebrate each other's successes.

  • Inclusivity - Welcome diverse perspectives and approaches. Create an environment where everyone can participate fully.

By joining our collective, each member agrees to uphold these principles and contribute to the supportive, collaborative community described in our mission statement.

Deadline to Apply: November 15, 2025

FAQs

Why is there an application process for this position?

What we want to offer the community requires that our new dedicated member be a hard worker who shares our vision for the space. This application process give us the best chance to evaluate those things clearly.

Will there be other ways to stay involved in the studio if I am not a dedicated member?

Yes! We are currently in the process of figuring out how best to make the studio accessible in the most sustainable way possible, which will most likely take the form of tiered memberships available to the public to use the space and our resources down the line. Please stay tuned for more updates on this.

I just submitted my application. What happens next?

We will be in touch with everyone who applies to confirm we’ve received their application and talk about next steps, whether that means meeting with members of the collective to move forward in the application process, or staying in touch about other way to be part of our community if being a dedicated member isn’t the best fit.
